To get Trekking Guide License in Nepal, you should take part in training programs organized by the Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM) or Nepal Mountain Academy. 

Trekking Guide Training in Nepal:

1. Duration = 5 weeks
2. Course Fees = Rs. 7,000/-
3. Required Qualification and Documents:

• • 10+2 or equivalent with 2 years’ experience from a registered trekking agency of Nepal  OR S.E.E. with 3 years’ experience from registered trekking agency of Nepal
  • Citizenship certificate copy
  • Recently taken PP size photograph

In order to take the trekking guide license, there are two things you need to do-

1. Need to work any trekking company minimum 2 years and get the work experienced letter from them.
2. And, apply for trekking guide training.

There are minimum 2 Trekking Guide in Nepal training each year conducted by the Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM) joint venture with Trekking Agents Association of Nepal (TAAN)  as well by Nepal Mountain Academy.
