Landing the aircraft in Lukla airport is regarded as one of the challenging tasks, but thanks to our experienced pilot as they are extraordinarily skillful landing the plane in short steep runway. The real Classic Everest Base Camp Trek 14 Days begin from Lukla. We will start with a gradual uphill walk through alpine forests and Sherpa villages which ultimately takes us to Namche Bazaar. Namche is largest Sherpa settlement is whole Khumbu region where you will find numbers of restaurants and cafes.  You can also find varieties of foods and drinks here like coffee and brownie. Namche Bazaar is an ideal place for getting acclimatized. Leaving Namche behind us we will cross Dudh Koshi River and climb to Tengboche which is known for its monastery set in the lap of Ama Dablam, Everest and Lhotse. From here we will make our trek to Dingboche where you will have your second acclimatization day and then to Gorakshep which ultimately takes to Kala patthar. The view of Everest along with many other Himalayan giants seen from here is just splendid. Details Itinerart for 14 Days 

 

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu (1,320 m/4,330 ft.) and transfer to Hotel. D

Today is the first day of our adventure trek in Nepal. Our wonderful trip started upon your Arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. After landing, our representative will receive you at the Airport and transfer to the Hotel. After check-in in the hotel you can be fresh and take a rest. In the evening, we introduce with your trekking Guides and discuss trip briefing and planning.

Day 2:Connect fly to Lukla (2,850 m/ 9,350 ft.) & trek to Phakding (2,640 m/8,661 ft.) 4-5 hrs. B.L.D

Our trek starts after the helicopter flight to Lukla from Kathmandu after our early morning breakfast. On our way to Lukla, we enjoy breathtaking scenarios of mountains which is about 45 minute’s flight. Our  Everest Base Camp trek 14 days begins when we reach to Lukla and end at lukla. Then we will introduce you to the porter and our trek begins gently alongside to Dudh Koshi River and passes through excellent paved footpaths, beautiful villages Churikharkha, Chuplung about three to four hours slowly trekking to reach Phakding.

Day 3 :Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/11,286 ft.) 6-7 hrs. B.L.D

After having breakfast we get prepared to start our next day trek in the Himalayas. The trial leads towards the suspension bridges, pine forests and easy uphill through the Chumoa village to the Monjo, which is the entrance point to Sagarmatha National Park.  Then after the trial leads steeply to the long suspension bridges across the Dudh Koshi River as pass the Jorsale village.  We trek through uphill and able to see the world highest Mt. Everest along with Mt. Lhoste for the first time before reaching Namche Bazaar- a gateway of Khumbu or Everest region. Namche bazaar is the capital of Everest region which has a steep bowl shape landscape with an excellent mountains views where we spend a night.

Day 4:Rest & Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar and excursion 2-3 hrs. B.L.D

Today is the day for acclimatization or rest day, where we will spend whole day at Namche Bazaar.  Climbing high and sleeping low is considered as good way to acclimatize with your body so that there will not any altitude sickness problems. After lunch, we will short hike towards Everest view hotel from where we can see the panoramic view of the world highest mountains Mt. Ama Dablam, Everest, Lhoste, Nuptse, Thamserku and so on. Today we also visit the Hillary School and experience Sherpa culture and their lifestyles. Then we enjoy beautiful town as well take some rest and prepare for next day.

Day 5:Trek from Namche Bazaar to Dengboche (3,870 m/12,697 ft.) 5-6 hrs. B.L.D

After having breakfast at the Namche Bazzar, we follow the trial that leads towards the kenjoma from where the trial to Gokyo Lake and Everest Base Campo separates. Slowly, the trial descend towards the Dhudh Koshi River and goes steep up through beautiful forests, magnificent view of mountains and many Sherpa villages to reach the Tengboche.  Tengboche is the very famous village of Khumbu region which is renowned for the oldest and biggest Buddhist monasteries with a charming spot beyond our eyes of world beautiful mountains including Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and Thamserku.

Day 6:Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,410 m/14,469 ft.) 5-6 hrs. B.L.D

Our day journey begins with a short hike passing through a lush green Rhododendron forests to reach the beautiful village of Pangboche. Pangboche is the spot of several Mani walls and small villages as well home of many Everest Sherpa’s climbers. We can admire good views of Mt. Everest, Lhoste and Ama Dablam, while walking. Then we will reach Orsho which is the point that separates the trial to Pheriche and Dingboche.  We continue our walk to Imja valley to reach the Dingboche which is a picturesque village with beautiful barley, and potato with grazing animal’s fields. Dingboche is also known as the gateway for Island Peak Climbing.

Day 7:Acclimatization day at Dingboche. B.L.D

Today is another day of acclimatization in Dingboche. We stay here to ensure proper acclimatization on a high altitude to stay active in further coming days on trekking. After lunch, we climb to top of the hill for acclimatization purposes as well short hike to Chhukung valley which is surrounded by majestic peaks like Mt. Lhotse, Makalu, Cho-Oyu, Ama Dablam, Island peak, Cholaste, Taboche and many mighty peaks. We can also witness Imja Valley and the beautiful Dingboche village and back for proper rest.

Day 8:Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,940 m/16,207 ft.) 5-6 hrs. B.L.D

Shortly after breakfast, the trail starts with a climb to Duglha through the Khumbu Khola valley. The valley begins to narrow as we come closer to Dusa. The trail is steep and trial consists of numerous huge rocks and mountains yaks passing nearby in the high altitude. We can also see many memorials made in the memory of climbers with praying flags and stones who passed away on the way to Mt. Everest Then we reach the trail joining from Gokyo Lakes and Cho-La Pass. We can also see the peaks like Khumbuste, Lingtren, Pumori and Mahalangur Himal and so on. Walking through the mountain land, we can easily get tiredness in normal walk towards Lubuche. Lobuche contains only few houses and after long walk we

Day 9:Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,170 m/16,961 ft.) and hike to Everest Base Camp (5,364 m/17,598 ft.) and back to Gorak Shep. 6-8 hrs. B.L.D

Today is most exciting and longest days in our adventure trek towards the Everest Base Camp. We take an early breakfast in Lobuche and start our trek to Gorakshep. The trail is quite wide and easy to walk where we can witness the majestic mountains beyond our eyes. Then we check-in in the lodge of Gorakshep and keep our belongings in there. After lunch, we head towards our final destination Everest Base Camp. We walk through snow in the way and enjoy breath-taking views of world highest mountains Mt. Everest, Pumori, Nuptse, Lhotse along with mighty of peaks, world’s biggest glacier Khumbu glacier from the base camp of Mt. Everest. After taking our valuable adventurous memories in the camera in Everest base camp we will return to Gorakshep through same trial.

Day10:Hike to Kalapathar (5,545 m/18,192 ft.)and trek to Pheriche (4,371 m/14,341 ft.) 6-7 hrs. B.L.D

Early morning we climb to top of Kalapatthar (5,545 m) which is one of the best viewpoints in the Himalaya of Everest region which is about approximately two hours walk. From Kalapatthar we can observe the 360 degree panoramic views with vibrant sunrise of snow-capped mountains like Mt. Everest, Khumbase, Pumari, Cho-Oyu, Khumbu Glacier, Ama Dablam, Everest Base Camp etc. Then trek down to Gorakshep and had breakfast. Then we descend to Pheriche to spend our night.

Day11:Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/11,286 ft.) 5-6 hrs. B.L.D

After having breakfast, the trail drops easy downhill till Pangboche village. Then, the trail descend to the riverside to cross the bridge over Imja Khola and continues to climb up to Tengboche. A steep descend form Tengboche and leads you to the Dudh Koshi River. We cross the suspension bridge over the DudhKhoshi River and towards Phunki Tenga. We also pass the village of Tashinga and Sansa to reach Namche Bazaar. The night will be spent here so that you can enjoy a hot shower, relax in restaurants and cafes, etc.

Day12:Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,850 m/ 9,350 ft.) 6-7 hrs. B.L.D

Today is the last day of trekking in the land of Himalayas. Our treks begins after breakfast in Namche. We slowly cross the beautiful landscape and Dudh Koshi River to reach Monjo. After completing some formalities at the check post of National park at Monjo, we continue our treks towards Phakding for lunch. We enjoy plains lands, rhododendrons and pine forests, lifestyle and culture of Sherpa’s, charming village, prayer stones and flags until our trek ends to Lukla. On reaching Lukla, we enjoy with a great memories and had dinner with a crew members.

Day 13:  Fly back to Kathmandu (1,320 m/4,330 ft.) 35 min. and transfer to hotel and free day B.

After the breakfast the guide takes care of airport formalities while your luggage will be taken to the airport by Sherpa’s and porters. Today is the last day with your Sherpa porters so say good bye.Then we take the earliest possible flight back to Kathmandu which is about 35 minutes scenic flight. On your arrival to the airport in Kathmandu, our private vehicle will escort you to your Hotel. After lunch, we will explore the world heritage sites in Kathmandu i.e. Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey temple) and Baudhanath Stupa. Then you would have a farewell dinner organized by Life Himalaya Trekking with a Nepali Culture Dance.

Day 14:Farewell and Departure.

Our adventurous trip ends today in Nepal. Our representative along with  private vehicle will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure flight as per your flight schedule towards your sweet home.
