Everest base camp 12 days trek journey begins with a short flight from Kathmandu to Lukla-gateway of Everest region. Our walk passes through the amazing trekking trails following typical Sherpa’s village of Phakding and Monjo to reach Namche Bazaar. Our high altitude walk leads through the charming villages encountering prayer flags and mani walls with a view of towering peaks. Then we pass via the popular village of Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche to our final destination Everest base camp. Enjoying time at the base camp overlooking view of Khumbu glaciers and icefall we back to Gorakshep. Then we hike to the outstanding view-point of Kala Patthar to explore the 360-degree panoramic views of the Himalayas. Then our return journey descends through the village of Pheriche, Namche, and ends our walk at Lukla. Lastly, we take a scenic return flight to Kathmandu with long-lasting memories on 12 days Everest base camp trekking.

Day 01:Arrival at Kathmandu (1,320 m/4,330 ft.) and transfer to hotel

Welcome to the land of Himalaya, Nepal. The first day of your adventurous trip to Nepal begins upon your Arrival at Tribhvan International Airport, Kathmandu. At your arrival terminal, our Nepal Everest Himalaya Hiking representatives will warmly welcome you and transfer to your respective hotel with our private vehicle. In afternoon, you will be invited to our office for briefing session about each day program and short meeting with your trekking guide. Stay Overnight at 3-star rated hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02:Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,804 m/9,200 ft.) & trek to Monjo (2,835 m/9,301 ft.) 4-5 hrs.

We begin our day after having early morning breakfast at hotel in Kathmandu. Then you will be easy transfer to Domestic Airport to take a morning flight around 35 minutes towards Lukla-the trek starting point. Here at Lukla you’ll introduce to your Porters and crew members. After a short meeting and introduction with the porters, we start our trekking journey gently alongside to Dudh Koshi River and passes through excellent paved footpaths to beautiful village of Cheplung, Ghat and Phakding. After having lunch at Phakding we move forward to Monjo. Stay Overnight at tea-house in Monjo.

Day 03: Trek from Monjo to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/11,286 ft.) & acclimatization hike to Syangboche (3,880 m/12,726 ft.) 4-5 hrs.

After having breakfast our day starts passing through colorful landscape following Dhudh Koshi River and our trek continues to ascend the village of Jorsalle- Sagarmatha National Park entry point and trekking permit and TIMS checking point, Crossing Hillary Bridge and seeing fight sight of Mt. Thamsekru we climb up to the Sherpa’s capital Namche Bazaar. Since today is the short day trek, we take an acclimatization hike to stay active and not suffer from altitude sickness. After having lunch, we hike up to world's highest placed luxury hotel- Everest View Hotel to see the close-up views of the world highest mountains including Mt. Everest. Then we back to Namche, and enjoy rest of day by visiting the beautiful Namche or take rest. Stay Overnight at tea-house in Namche Bazaar.

Day 04:Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,867 m/12,686 ft.) 5-6 hrs.

Our day begins after having breakfast at Namche. Our walk climbs up and then passes through beautiful lush green forest enjoying the magnificent views of Himalaya until we reach Sansa- the trail separates to Gokyo valley and Mount Everest base camp. Then we turn right and heads towards Phunki Thanga. After lunch at Phunki, our trial steeply up through the Rhododendron forest until we reach Tengboche village. Tengboche is a most beautiful place of Everest region set in the perfect spot i.e. backdrop of Mt. Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Everest and many other peaks. We will visit renowned oldest and ancient Buddhist Tengboche monasteries which is one of the major highlight of this trek. Stay Overnight at tea-house in Tengboche.

Day 05:Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,350 m/14,272 ft.) 5-6 hrs.

Our day starts after having breakfast at tea-house. Our amazing walk passes through the Rhododendron forest to Debouche followed by the bridge over Imja Khola. Then we pass the long mani walls and ascends to Pangboche village lies below the towering Ama Dablam. We enjoy a great opportunity to observe Sherpa hospitality and have lunch with locals. Then the trial follows the river as it rises to its confluence with the Lobuche Khola and continues towards beautiful village of Dingboche. Dingboche is also known as the gateway for Island Peak Climbing. Stay Overnight at tea-house in Dingboche.

Day 06:Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,930 m/16,170 ft.) 5-6 hrs.

Our day begins with amazing climb to a ridge through Khumbu Khola with breathtaking views of Khumbuste, Pumori, Nuptse, Lhotse, Everest and Khumbu glacier. Our walk continues through yak pastures and wooden bridge towards Thukla. After having lunch at Thukla, we ascend gradually through the trial of numerous huge rocks. Then you may also see many memorial with praying flags and stones made in the memory of Sherpa’s and climbers who lost their life in tragic accidents in Mt. Everest. Then we reach the small settlement containing only few houses as well as teahouses near Mt. Everest named Lobuche. Stay Overnight at tea-house in Lobuche.

Day 07:Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,170 m/16,961 ft.) & trek to Everest Base Camp (5,364 m/17,598 ft.) & back to Gorak Shep.6-8 hrs.

Today is the most amazing and adventurous day of the entire trip. After having breakfast, our walk leads us towards adventurous place in Everest region named Gorak Shep. Once we check on at teahouse in Gorakshep, we leave our belongings there and prepare to leave for the Everest base camp. After having lunch, we heads towards tour final destination world's highest Mount Everest base camp. After reaching our destination we enjoy and capture the breathtaking views of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Pumori, etc and the natural splendor of Khumbu glacier in camera. Then we return journey back to Gorakshep since there is no place and teahouses to stay at Everest Base Camp. Stay Overnight at tea-house in Gorakshep.

Day 08:Hike to Kalapathar (5,545 m/18,192 ft.) & trek to Pheriche (4,280 m/14,041 ft.) 6-7 hrs.

Early in the morning we hike to Kalapatthar, which is the best viewpoint and highest point of our trek. From top of Kalapatthar are rewarded with the spectacular 360 degree views of snow-capped mountains such as Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Pumori, Cho-Oyu, Ama Dablam, and other mighty of peaks along with vibrant sunrise in the peak. Then we drop back to Gorakshep for our breakfast and retrace our steps towards Lobuche- a spot where you had a lunch. After lunch, our walk descends down following moraines and stone made memorials towards the Pheriche for a sound sleep at low altitude. Stay Overnight at tea-house in Pheriche.

Day 09:Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/11,286 ft.) 5-7 hrs

We continue our day slowly descending down through forest of Rhododendron and pine. We descend passing through the several Mani walls, several Chortens to reach the village of Debuche and followed by Pangboche. Passing through beautiful landscapes and enjoying spectacular views of Himalayas we walk towards Tengboche monastery where we enjoy our lunch. Then we heads towards Namche Bazaar. Namche is delightful mountain town and built on a steep mountain bowl with excellent views of the Himalayas with every facility like restaurants, banks, and shops etc. Stay Overnight at tea-house in Namche Bazaar

Day 10:Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,804 m/ 9,200 ft.) 5-6 hrs.

After breakfast at Namche, we trek descend towards the Hillary suspension bridge and then pass through several typical villages. 

Then we slightly pass through the beautiful Sherpa’s settlements of Jorsalle and Monjo village towards Phakding. After having lunch at Phakding, our trek passes through river and beautiful landscapes until we climb towards Lukla. Today is the last day with our porters and crew-member so, we enjoy our day with full of exicement. Stay Overnight at tea-house in Lukla.

 Day 11: Fly back to Kathmandu (1,320 m/4,330 ft.) 35 min. and transfer to hotel

Our day ends today in the heartland of Everest. We take the earliest possible flight back to Kathmandu. On your arrival at Kathmandu Airport our representative will easy transfer towards your respective hotels on our private vehicle. The rest of the day is reserved for your personal activities. You may relax whole day or explore around the famous markets and places to do some souvenir shopping. In the evening, there will be farewell dinner at Nepalese restaurant with a typical Nepalese cultural dance hosted by Nepal Everest  Himalaya Hiking to celebrate the successful completion of our journey.

Day 12:Final Departure

Our adventurous journey to Mount Evesrst base camp trek-12 days ends today. Our representative will easy transfer you to the International airport three hours before your flight schedule towards your home with warm greetings.
