This Spring and Autum Season-2020 in Nepal, we had all of our himalayan trekking tours and climbing groups cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic and Lockdown.
The bulk of our income comes from assisting visitors as we trek into the heart of the Himalayas. The wages and tips we receive help us feed our families, send our children to school, Without tourists, we have no income stream and are receiving little to no financial support during this time.
Over the last 10 months, we team of guides and porters who are regularly have been hired for himalaya Trekking and Climbing , have not had any work and have not been able to earn for our normal living. We have run out of our saving.
We, team of Trekking Guide and Porters, at Nepal Everest Himalaya Hiking Company, would like you to request for supporting us as we lost our tourism job opportunities in Himalayas since April, 2020 due to Covid-19 Pandemic in the world, As tourism job opportunities is only one altenative income source to survive for us, it seems it will take at least a year or more to get back to Normal Tourism Activities in Himalayas as earlier.
