Manaslu Special Trekking Permit Cost

Following Permits are required to Trek in Manaslu Himalayas of Nepal. 

Travel insurance copy, Nepal Visa, Trekking Itinerary, Passport size Photograph and Orginal Passport are required to issue the Manaslu Special Permit, morever Trekkers must book their trek with a Registered Trekking Company or be accompanied by a Registered Trekking Guide as well Trekkers need a group of at least two people before getting these permits.

 

1. Special Manaslu Trekking Permit 

Note: Manaslu Special permit is necessary for Jagat to Larkya La Pass while you are doing  Manaslu Circuit Trek. 

A. September-November: USD 100 for 7 days per person and after 7 days USD 15 per day per person.
December-August: USD 75 for 7 days per person and after 7 days USD 10 per day  per person.

 2. Conservation (National Park) Area Entrance Permit

A. ACAP (Annapurna Conservation Area Project) Entrance Permit. USD 30 per person

B. MCAP (Manaslu Conservation Area Project) Entrance Permit. USD 30 per person

Note: To issue the Permit , a Passport size photograph and a copy of passport are required.

 3.TIMS (Trekking Information Management System) Card

TIMS Card also known as Trekking Permit is mandatory for doing trekking in Manaslu  Himalayas Area.

Manaslu trekking is an exotic off-the-beaten trail that lets you explore the pristine region of Nepal. It is considered to be a moderate level trekking with cultural, historical and natural tours and a maximum elevation of 5160m at Larkya La Pass. The total length of the Manaslu trekking is around 177 kilometers.

Manaslu Circuit trek was opened for the international trekkers in the year 1991 A.D. Even after that, the government of Nepal has listed Tsum valley and other villages of the Manaslu region as a restricted region of Nepal. And when a region is listed as restricted, the independent travelers cannot hike to Manaslu as solo trekkers.
