The 20th ‘Himalayan White Water Challenge’ competition is started in the Trishuli river of Nepal from today

November 27, 2022: The 20th ‘Himalayan White Water Challenge’ competition is started in the Trishuli river of Nepal from today till November 29th.The competition is held every year. Shiv Adhikari, president of the Nepal Association Of Rafting Agencies (NARA), said that the competition was held with the aim of bringing more tourists to Nepal by promoting water-related tourism.

It is estimated that 200 players from different countries will participate in the tournament. About 50/60 international-level water athletes will participate.

The competition will be held at a distance of 15 to 20 km on the Trishuli River. As part of the competition, there will be Kayak Boater Crosses on Monday and Kayak Down River Race and Rafting Down River Race on the last day on Tuesday.

is competition has been held in Nepal since 2002.NARA believes that this will help in the promotion of Nepal’s adventure sports tourism and will help to make rafting guides and water sportsmen more skilled.
