10 days Everest base camp trekking is an exciting journey of a lifetime which begins with an exciting scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla- gateway to the Everest region. Then our trek to Everest base camp takes you towards the famous villages of Phakding, capital of Everest region-Namche Bazaar. Next, we move towards Tengboche which reflex the prominent Sherpa culture and also the oldest and largest Buddhist monasteries. Giving continuity our trek, we trek towards Dingboche, Lobuche, Gorak Shep to our final destination Everest Base Camp. We then climb to Kala Patthar- the highest point of a trek to explore 360-degree panoramic views of the world’s highest mountains with a vibrant sunrise and sunsets. Our Everest base camp trek route continues to descend towards Pheriche, Namche, and end our trek at Lukla. Lastly, we take a return flight back to the capital city Kathmandu and explore world heritage sites.

 

Day 1

Connect fly to Lukla (2,850 m/ 9,350 ft.) & trek to Phakding (2,640 m/8,661 ft.) 35 Minute Flight and  5 Hours Walking

Our trek starts after the Short flight (about 35minute)  to Lukla from Kathmandu after our early morning breakfast. On our way to Lukla, we enjoy breathtaking scenarios of mountains which is about 35 minute’s flight. Our Everest Base Camp trek begins when we reach to Lukla.  our trek begins gently alongside to Dudh Koshi River and passes through excellent paved footpaths, beautiful villages about four to five hours to reach Phakding.

Day 2

 Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/11,286 ft.)

-7 Hours Walking

After having breakfast we get prepared to start our next day trek in the Himalayas. The trial leads towards the suspension bridges, pine forests and easy uphill through the Chumoa village to the Monjo, which is the entrance point to Sagarmatha (Everest) National Park.  Then after the trial leads steeply to the long suspension bridges across the Dudh Koshi River as pass the Jorsale village.  We trek through uphill and able to see the world highest Mt. Everest along with Mt. Lhoste for the first time before reaching Namche Bazaar- a gateway of Khumbu or Everest region. Namche bazaar is the capital of Everest region which has a steep bowl shape landscape with an excellent mountains views where we spend a night.

Day 3

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870 m/12,697 ft.)

-6 Hours Walking

After having breakfast at the Namche Bazzar, we follow the trial that leads towards the kenjoma from where the trial to Gokyo Lake and Everest Base Campo separates. Slowly, the trial descend towards the Dhudh Koshi River and goes steep up through beautiful forests, magnificent view of mountains and many Sherpa villages to reach the Tengboche.  Tengboche is the very famous village of Khumbu region which is renowned for the oldest and biggest Buddhist monasteries with a charming spot beyond our eyes of world beautiful mountains including Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and Thamserku.

Day 4

Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,410 m/14,469 ft.)

-6 hours Walking.

Our day journey begins with a short hike passing through a lush green Rhododendron forests to reach the beautiful village of Pangboche. Pangboche is the spot of several Mani walls and small villages as well home of many Everest Sherpa’s climbers. We can admire good views of Mt. Everest, Lhoste and Ama Dablam, while walking. Then we will reach Orsho which is the point that separates the trial to Pheriche and Dingboche.  We continue our walk to Imja valley to reach the Dingboche which is a picturesque village with beautiful barley, and potato with grazing animal’s fields. Dingboche is also known as the gateway for Island Peak Climbing.

Day 5

Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,940 m/16,207 ft.)

-6 Hours Walking

Shortly after breakfast, the trail starts with a climb to Duglha through the Khumbu Khola valley. The valley begins to narrow as we come closer to Dusa. The trail is steep and trial consists of numerous huge rocks and mountains yaks passing nearby in the high altitude. We can also see many memorials made in the memory of climbers with praying flags and stones who passed away on the way to Mt. Everest Then we reach the trail joining from Gokyo Lakes and Cho-La Pass. We can also see the peaks like Khumbuste, Lingtren, Pumori and Mahalangur Himal and so on. Walking through the mountain land, we can easily get tiredness in normal walk towards Lubuche. Lobuche contains only few houses and after long walk we

Day 6

Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,170 m/16,961 ft.) and hike to Everest Base Camp (5,364 m/17,598 ft.) and back to Gorak Shep. 6-8 hrs. B.L.D

Today is most exciting and longest days in our adventure trek towards the Everest Base Camp. We take an early breakfast in Lobuche and start our trek to Gorakshep. The trail is quite wide and easy to walk where we can witness the majestic mountains beyond our eyes. Then we check-in in the lodge of Gorakshep and keep our belongings in there. After lunch, we head towards our final destination Everest Base Camp. We walk through snow in the way and enjoy breath-taking views of world highest mountains Mt. Everest, Pumori, Nuptse, Lhotse along with mighty of peaks, world’s biggest glacier Khumbu glacier from the base camp of Mt. Everest. After taking our valuable adventurous memories in the camera in Everest base camp we will return to Gorakshep through same trial.

Day 7

Hike to Kalapathar (5,545 m/18,192 ft.)and trek to Pheriche (4,371 m/14,341 ft.)

-7 Hours Walking

Early morning we climb to top of Kalapatthar (5,545 m) which is one of the best viewpoints in the Himalaya of Everest region which is about approximately two hours walk. From Kalapatthar we can observe the 360 degree panoramic views with vibrant sunrise of snow-capped mountains like Mt. Everest, Khumbase, Pumari, Cho-Oyu, Khumbu Glacier, Ama Dablam, Everest Base Camp etc. Then trek down to Gorakshep and had breakfast. Then we descend to Pheriche to spend our night.

Day 8

Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/11,286 ft.)

-6 hours Walking

After having breakfast, the trail drops easy downhill till Pangboche village. Then, the trail descend to the riverside to cross the bridge over Imja Khola and continues to climb up to Tengboche. A steep descend form Tengboche and leads you to the Dudh Koshi River. We cross the suspension bridge over the DudhKhoshi River and towards Phunki Tenga. We also pass the village of Tashinga and Sansa to reach Namche Bazaar. The night will be spent here so that you can enjoy a hot shower, relax in restaurants and cafes, etc.

Day 9

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,850 m/ 9,350 ft.)

8 Hours Walking

Today is the last day of trekking in the land of Himalayas. Our treks begins after breakfast in Namche. We slowly cross the beautiful landscape and Dudh Koshi River to reach Monjo. After completing some formalities at the check post of National park at Monjo, we continue our treks towards Phakding for lunch. We enjoy plains lands, rhododendrons and pine forests, lifestyle and culture of Sherpa’s, charming village, prayer stones and flags until our trek ends to Lukla.

Day 10:  Fly back to Kathmandu (1,320 m/4,330 ft.) 35 min. and transfer to hotel

The flight to Kathmandu is in the morning around at 9 AM, its short flight that is 35 Minutes.
