Located in north inner Nepal, Ghale Gaun is mainly Gurung settlement encouraging unique village tourism and involved society base generosity. Ghale Gaun trekking has considerably contribute to the encouragement of village tourism in Nepal. As part of Nepal Himalaya trekking programmers, Ghale Gaun trek offers the chance for Ghale Gaun village tour, typical festival, culture, lifestyle, and the real Gurung people. The memorial views from Ghale Gau village are Buddha Himal, Himalchuli and Mt. Manaslu to the northeast, Mt. Lamjung and Annapurna II to the north and Mt. Machhapuchhere and Mt. Annapurna South to the Northwest. We begin our trip from Khundi and end in bank of Beganath Tal.

Tourist are welcomed in Ghalegaun with traditional dances. Handicraft exhibition and other entertainment programs are also performed for visitors. Visitors can even participate in traditional Rodhi (Singing and dancing) every evening. Trekking to and staying at Ghalegaun is an exciting and enjoyable experience for both international and domestic visitors. There are few Pahuna Ghars (guest home) also which belong to the Aama Samuha (mother group). If you really want a new taste of Nepalese culture and life style, than Ghalegaun is one of the best destinations for you. The villagers welcome you with red tika and garland. Traditional rituals are still followed during births, deaths, marriages and at other important times in a person's life. Traditional cultural dances like the Jhyaure, Serka, Dohori, Ghantu, Ghyabring, Krishna Charitra and Jhakri are performed on various occasions accompanied by different musical instruments with the dancers in traditional dress. New Year, Lhosar, Buddha Jayanti is celebrated with lot of traditional Ghantu dance.

The ghale gaun lies to the great Annapurna Range which starts from Beshishar around 43 km North from Dumbre the popular stop at Prithivi Highway. Besi sahar can be reached by bus from Kathmandu Pokhara as well from major cities of the country. From Beshishar you can be rolled towards the winding road uphill dotted with the agriculture farm. As you go up, you will see an array of snow peaks crowned with nature and beauty that left breathless, felt like all Himalayan giants are lined up for the cameras to get captured. There are few routes to reach Ghale gaun. Now a day there is seasonable road directly drive too. Here we recommend continues drive to Kudi and start trek to Ghale Gau and end your trek in Pokhara catch the Royal trekking path. If given itinerary is not match feel free to write us we make different itinerary as your interest and time frame.

Day 01 :Drive by Bus to Bensisahar (760m.) continues to Khudi (790m), Overnight lodge.
After breakfast drive by tourist coach to Prithivi high way passing Nagdhunga – Naubese – Bairani – Malekhu – Mukling – Dumre than Besi Sahar continues to Khundi 6/ 7 hours, Overnight in Lodge.

Day 02 :Trek to Ghalegaun 1800m – 6 hours.
Today is the first day of our home stay trekking so we start after a cup of hot tea and some foods. The trial following the Khudi Khola and some up and down to reach in Ghale Gaun. It takes 4/5 hours walk. We have lunch on the way in local people home. Up on your arrive the village people are welcome to you and introduction about village. Overnight in Home stay.

Day 03 :Trek to Ghanapokhara 1/2 hours.
The schedule is depend on local culture and custom so we attend worship and continues the village activities than after lunch we trek to Ghana Pokhara the next village, its takes an hour treks. Overnight in Home stay.

Day 04 :Trek to Baglungpani (1595) 4 hours.
After the view and the hospitability of local people trek start to Baglung Pani 4 hours 1595 meters. We have very nice view on the way and we take lunch on the way local tea shop. Overnight in Home stay.

Day 05 :Trek to Laxmi Bazar 1300m 5 hours.
Our treks start after breakfast to gradually down to Laxmi Bazar 1300m 5 hours. Laxmi Bazaar is the local shops. We will visit around if have time than overnight in local home.

Day 06 :Trek to Begnas Lake & drive back to Pokhara.
Trek to Begnas Lake 3 hours and explore the lake with mountain view than drive back to Pokhara lake side, side tour around Phewa Lakes, dinner, overnight in Hotel.

Day 07 :Drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus or next trip.
After breakfast we drive to Phewa lake dam side than continues drive to Kathmandu 6 hours by tourist bus, overnight in Kathmandu hotel or next trip.
